Greetings faithful Champions! 

We are grateful to celebrate another year of opportunities for serving people here and around the world with you. Tis the season to be MERRY for all the good that has been accomplished!  

 Abuse Recovery Ministry Services is holding in person Her Journey recovery groups in twenty-one states and seven countries. Her Journey is not offered in five languages. There are ninety weekly groups being held in a multitude of locations including churches, recovery homes, pregnancy centers, Family Justice Centers, on Zoom, and more. This is a new record for ARMS!  

We are thrilled to see how God is moving with healing and restoration in those who have experienced abuse.  

Her Journey testimony;

“I found Her Journey through my pastor. God gave me the courage to attend and I’m so thankful I did. God used Her Journey to change my life by changing my relationship with Him. I learned the abuse was not my fault and that it was my abuser’s choice to be abusive. It was through Her Journey that I came to understand that it is good to set boundaries. I have freedom to make healthy choices. It is my heart’s desire that every woman who has been traumatized by abuse be able to be blessed by the God-inspired Her Journey program.”  Beth    

 The men and women who complete our intervention programs often thank ARMS for helping them change their lives by learning healthy relationship tools and developing Godly personal values.  

ManKind testimony;

“At the ManKind program,  I had to learn to say ‘Yes, I screwed up, or I chose to ______.’ It doesn’t matter what anyone else does. I am always responsible for my choices. This has been the best group I ever belonged to. I couldn’t wait until the next class. When I accepted the truth, I gained power over my entire life. This way of thinking brought me joy in doing difficult things. Never did I think that taking a required program would have such a profound effect on my entire life.”   John

“The facilitators held me accountable and challenged my way of thinking every week. They taught me how powerful being in control of my own behaviors really is. I find myself using the verbiage learned in class to effectively communicate my feelings in all my relationships. Virtue has taught me many things about myself, but the one that is most important is that I don’t have to prove to anyone that I am worthy of love and respect, because to God, I already am and will always be.” Kari

Her Journey is our largest program and we are committed to keeping it FREE so that no one will be turned away or have to wait to enter group.
