ManKind groups are a 36-week program (minimum) for men who have chosen controlling and abusive behaviors and require both male and female facilitators.
ManKind is a faith-based program designed to help men understand their controlling and abusive behaviors and to deal with the beliefs, views and opinions behind them. ManKind has shown great success and the recidivism rate is only 5% compared to the much larger national average.
Cost is $500.00 for the this course (includes 30 hours of batterer’s intervention, curriculum/leader’s manual, one participant notebook for duplication and ongoing support and consultation with the ARMS office).*
DETAILS:
Students and instructor meet on Zoom 1 day a week (7am-3pm Pacific for 5 weeks) for a total of 6 weeks.
*Virtue curriculum is available for an additional $50 for trained ManKind facilitators.
