Welcome to ARMS, Faith-Based Abuse Recovery Services
ARMS, Abuse Recovery Ministry & Services, is the lead ministry organization in faith-based and narcissistic abuse recovery for women and men affected by emotional and psychological abuse, physical abuse, spiritual abuse, sexual abuse, financial abuse, verbal abuse, animal abuse and property abuse.
Domestic abuse is also called Intimate Partner Violence
With free, trauma-informed relationship abuse recovery groups available for ladies both nationally and internationally, ARMS has served over 36 thousand women who have been helped by “Her Journey”, a 15-week recovery program loosely based on Psalm 23 which covers important topics such as what submission is (versus oppression), how to set boundaries in abuse, healing the wounds of trauma, seeing yourself as God sees you, how to deal with anger, how to deal with loneliness in and after abuse, what to do when scripture is being used as a weapon, how forgiveness does not mean reconciliation, what the Bible says about abusive marriage, how to tell if a relationship is toxic and much more.
Flying free from abuse and working towards mending the soul, spirit, mind and body from abuse and trauma is an essential step in claiming the abundant life that God has for us. (John 10:10) Abuse is a killer of lives, relationships, self-esteem, dreams and hopes. Deuteronomy 30:19 tells us to choose life, so that we and our children may live.

Do you use controlling behaviors in your relationships?
ARMS also has programs called ManKind (for men) and Virtue (for women) in limited areas. These programs support faith-based and Christian abuse recovery for those who have made these choices. Participants learn about topics including the types of abuse, the cycle of abuse, what emotional abuse is, what spiritual abuse is, power and control, costs and payoffs of abuse, drugs and alcohol in relation to domestic violence, responsibility versus blame, the victim recovery process and much more.

Why Support ARMS?
With your help, Abuse Recovery Ministry Services has helped over 33,000 people heal from abuse. ARMS has now expanded to national and international regions and financial support is needed. With this change has come much-needed new software, staffing, professional videography, additional marketing, and supplies. ARMS is funded only by grants and donors. Without this support, ARMS cannot stay afloat.
ARMS maintains their commitment to never charge victims or survivors of abuse. It costs about $75.00 to send a victim through the Her Journey program. You can be 100% assured that each penny you give is handled responsibly and put towards the best use of the people in need.
God has brought so much healing to me and ARMS was very helpful to open my eyes to the truth of the situation and how much the Lord really hates injustice. Thank you. -Erin P.
