Before joining Her Journey classes, I was always in this state of depression and feeling hopeless, alone, and misunderstood. When a community health promoter gave me a flier of ARMS KENYA, I learnt that I can choose to heal and change my current life and that my abusive marriage should not give me a lifeless life. I can heal and my healing is not dependent on my abuser. Since then not only have I started working on my gifts again and even raising my 2 kids has been joyous. I was in a never-ending cycle of pain but now I have a full cycle of a community of hopeful women empowering each other through HJ and crocheting skills class. I changed my attitude and view on my life and now everything has changed. My favorite Topic is “Shadows of Death”. I CHOOSE JOY.

Life-Changing Help Starts With You!

Since we started the life skill courses, we have been able to help over 15 women acquire skills like crocheting, tailoring and basic baking. Ladies like Waithera, who was able to get a machine through a women’s self help group, is now able to do her own sewing, sell products and be able to be financially sustainable.

This transformation and others only happened because of your generous donation. Hence we thank you.

Please help us reach more women.

Our desire is as we transform women through Her Journey, we also want ARMS Kenya itself to able to do much more for these ladies. Acquiring a commercial knitting machine is a step towards financial stability for the women and ARMS.

One of the factors why women stay in an abusive environment is lack of financial capability but a machine would mean more orders and more financial help as they work to be independent. Be a partner by helping us realize this vision.

What Kenya Needs:

  • Her Journey + Crocheting $183 US dollars.
  • Her Journey + Tailoring $256 US dollars.
  • Her Journey + Baking $110 US dollars.
  • Knitting machine total cost $9,774 US Dollars.

Please donate today and choose the “international” option on the pull down.

Thank you,

Ann, ARMS Kenya CEO
